HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS

Both the Wig Making Diploma Program and the Advanced Prosthetics Specialization require sustained fine motor control and visual acuity for detailed manual work. This includes ventilating, implanting, and precision measuring over extended periods.

Applicants who experience hand stiffness, carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic joint pain, tremors, or vision impairments should consult with their healthcare provider before enrolling. These conditions may affect your ability to complete required coursework safely and to the standard expected for certification.
